RoSH International Conference 2026

Sexual Violence and Society: Understanding, Prevention, and Response

info

Conference Overview

Sexual violence remains a deeply rooted global challenge, with deep implications for health, human rights, gender equality, and sustainable development. Across diverse contexts, it is sustained by complex and intersecting structural factors, including gendered power relations, social norms, and institutional inequalities.

The International RoSH Conference 2026 is organised by the RoSH Initiative at the University of Technology Mauritius, in partnership with the Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI).

The conference convenes researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and civil society actors to engage in critical discussion, share emerging evidence, and strengthen collaborative networks. It aims to advance interdisciplinary understanding, promote evidence-based and context-sensitive prevention approaches, and facilitate knowledge exchange across sectors.
